March is for Makers

If there was a place where in one day you could sample a multitude of hands-on activities, for all ages, wouldn’t you want to go?  You can! Maker’s Day is being celebrated state wide on March 21, 2020 and the Piscataway Public Library is a proud participant. Both branches will offer a variety of maker stations, demonstrations and information sessions throughout the day.  Come for one, come for many. Try your hand at making!

New Jersey Makers Day began in 2015 as a way to enhance community engagement and develop connections among New Jersey residents.  The 2019 NJ Makers Day saw activities hosted at over 300 locations, attended by over 83,000 people. You can learn more about the organization and events for this year by visiting the NJ Makers Day website.
