Piscataway Public Library has many helpful resources for immigrants, including:
- Weekly English as second language (ESL) classes in the spring and fall (see more information below)
- Books, DVDs, and CDs for learning English
- Citizenship materials that help you study for the U.S. Naturalization test
- Books in world languages for adults and children
Piscataway Public Library offers free English as a second language (ESL) classes for adults learning English. The ESL classes are split into two 10-week semesters. The fall semester starts in September and ends in November. The spring semester starts in February and ends in April. Classes take place on weekdays in the afternoon or evening for one hour per week. Please note we prioritize Piscataway residents for these classes.
If you're interested in enrolling, please fill out the form below. Registration for fall classes open in August. This webpage will be updated with the exact registration date in late July. Once registration opens, you must speak to the librarian Ruby at Kennedy Library (500 Hoes Lane, Piscataway) to sign up. She can also be reached at esl@piscatawaylibrary.org or 732-463-1633.
