Top-Notch Test Prep Presents: ACT vs SAT, October 5, 7-8pm: Find out which test is right for you. A presentation about demystifying the two different exams, where we explain the exams and help you determine which test to take on. During the course of the lecture, we will touch on the psychology of the tests and learn strategies to help earn high scores.

Clay Creations, October 6, 3:30-4:30pm: Create mini figurines, coil bowls, and pinch pots using air dry clay!

Velvet Posters, October 14, 3:30-4:30pm: Join us for this mindfulness coloring activity. Your velvet poster will have an abstract art design for you to color!

Talk It Out, October 18, 3:30-4:30pm: Join us to discuss teen-centered issues. We will share resources to help keep you busy and take care of your mental health!

Light-Activated Robot with Xplorably, October 19, 3:30-4:30 pm: Learn how to make your own Light-Activated Robot using a kit from Xplorably! The program will take place on October 19 from 3:30-4:30 pm via Zoom. Registration is only open to those in grades 6-12 and can be done here.


Guided Painting, October 26, 3:30-4:30pm: Join Lynn Schwartz for a spooky guided painting session!

String Art, October 27, 3:30-4:30pm: Create your own string art!

make:able Challenge: This year Piscataway Public Library is competing in the make:able challenge. Participants will use CAD modeling to design and make a product or prototype that improves the day-to-day life of someone with a disability or the elderly.

This challenge will run from November 9, 2021 to March 15, 2022. We will teach you the technical skills you’ll need, you just need to bring your passion and creativity!

Requirements:

  • Computer with an internet connection and preferably a mouse
  • Ages 13-18
