Quilting Talk with Cindy Cephas – K

February 2 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Join us as we celebrate African American History Month with New Jersey quilter, Cindy Cephas, best known for her “Family Picture” quilts.   Now, creating her own quilting designs, Cindy  exhibits her quilts at art galleries and quilting shows throughout the Tri-State. Her quilts are also found in private collections, such those of Oprah Winfrey, Billy Dee Williams, and world renowned visual artist Leroy Campbell, to name a few.

And don’t miss an exhibit of Cindy Cephas’ quilts on display here at the Kennedy Library beginning the middle of January!

To register, call the Middlesex County Office of Arts & History at 732-745-4489.
