Art Talk: Frank Lloyd Wright and Modern Architecture

The 20th century was a revolutionary time in architecture. Form, function, and space were given new definitions and new applications in the design of modern buildings. With his organic style, geometric balance, and a diversity of projects that ranged from skyscrapers to gas stations, no other modern architect was as successful as the American Frank Lloyd Wright. We’ll be looking at Wright’s iconic Guggenheim Museum, as well as buildings by contemporaries like Frank Gehry, Le Corbusier, and Mies van der Rohe. If you’d like to join us, click on the link below.
