Wireless Printing Now Available at Kennedy and Westergard Branches

Beginning Monday, June 20, visitors to the Kennedy and Westergard Branches of Piscataway Public Library will be able to print wirelessly from mobile devices including smart phones, tablets, and laptop computers. Library patrons will print wirelessly by connecting to select wifi networks, and downloading the SmartAlec (Comprise Technologies) app/software. Once the print jobs have been submitted, users will send them to the black and white or color printers from the printer release station. Standard printing fees apply.

4th Annual Retro Gaming Day Celebrates History of Video Games

PISCATAWAY, NJ -- On Sunday, September 15 at 1:00 pm, the Kennedy Branch of Piscataway Public Library will host the 4th Annual Retro Gaming Day.

This all-ages celebration of retro gaming will feature live demonstrations and open play on vintage consoles, an ongoing high score contest, video game themed trivia, and a coloring contest for kids.

New Meetings for Job Seekers at Westergard Library in Piscataway

Piscataway Public Library Selected as SUPER Affiliate for Make Magazine's Maker Camp

The Piscataway Public Library has been selected as a SUPER Affiliate for Make Magazine's Maker Camp on Google+.  The Maker Camp runs for six weeks for students between 12 and 18 years old, and will include projects, virtual field trips, and talks from accomplished makers.  The weekly topics are: Makers in Motion, Create the Future, Fun & Games, Art & Design, DiY Music, and Make: Believe.  In week one, attendees will make a Two Liter Motor Boat and a Rocket-propelled Toy Car.  All programs begin at 2p.m., will last about an hour
