Offers free daily transportation by bus from the homes of Piscataway residents 60 years of age and older to the senior center, shopping centers, municipal offices, banks (upon availability), and other approved scheduled excursions.

Reduced Fares for Public Transportation:
NJ Transit Reduced Fare Program
Reduced fares, at anytime, are available on NJ Transit buses, trains and light rail, to seniors age 62 and over and people with disabilities. Personal assistants ride for free. Seniors must present a valid ID or NJ Transit Reduced Fare ID card. People with disabilities may show NJ Reduced Fare ID card or Medicare card. Applications for Reduced Fare ID cards are available online at www. njtransit.com or your local Office of Aging and Disabled Services.
A 15% discount for senior citizens (age 62 and older) and handicapped travelers is given on regular coach fare. This discount does not apply on club car seats or sleeping space charges. The discount fare will be granted to passengers who present appropriate identification.
