New Meetings for Job Seekers at Westergard Library in Piscataway

PISCATAWAY, NJ -- Piscataway Public Library will begin hosting weekly meetings of the Professional Services Group of New Brunswick (PSGNB) at their Westergard Branch, located on Murray Avenue in Piscataway. These meetings will be held every Wednesday at 10:30 am, beginning on August 14.

Founded in 1989, PSGNB is a group of professionals who have joined together to network and share expertise. This volunteer peer support group can help individuals develop job-seeking skills, including preparing resumes and cover letters, practicing interviews, and using the professional networking website LinkedIn.

The Library also provides a large variety of resources for job seekers, including books, CDs, and DVDs, plus eBooks and eAudio Books via eLibraryNJ.com. These resources cover important topics like writing and updating your resume and cover letter, interviewing skills, and basic information about different jobs and careers.  

In addition to the launch of their weekly meetings at the Westergard Branch, PSGNB also hosts job search events at the Library’s Kennedy Branch on Hoes Lane.
