Join us for New Jersey Makers Day

The Piscataway Public Library will host its 4th Annual NJ Makers Day celebration on Saturday, March 10th. 

Activities at Kennedy start at 10:30am, activities at Westergard start at 11am.  

At Westergard:

  • Make a bracelet or keychain with Magazine Beads
  • Design your own Makers Day Robot 

‚ÄčOther activities at Kennedy:   

  • Robotics Demonstrations with Piscataway Team 224 and Robosmart
  • 3D-Printed Bubble Wands
  • Build a Rube Goldberg Machine with the whole family
  • Blackout Poetry - draw and collage to turn old book pages into new poems
  • Build a Radio with SPARC - this activity is for ages 12+ and requires registration - contact Kathleen
  • Holograms, hydroponics and more with Conackamack Middle School
  • Photo Booth - take your picture with silly props
  • Build a Catapult with Junior STEM
  • Coloring for children, teens, and adults 
  • Create Piscataway - in miniature!  Stop into the Children's Room to build your favorite landmarks, and add your house
  • Tinker and create in our HackSpace 
  • Explore Watercolor Painting, Origami, Teru Bozu & Drones with local student volunteers
