Author Talk on Digital Photography


Andrew Darlow, Piscataway-based photographer, consultant and author will cover a range of tips and techniques from his new book: Focus and Filter: Professional Techniques for Mastering Digital Photography and Capturing the Perfect Shot (Ulysses Press).

Some examples of what you will learn during the talk:

*How to Take Better Candid and Formal Portraits (for example, what to say to kids and adults (and even pets!) to help them feel more relaxed in front of the camera);
*How to Capture Mouthwatering Food Photos at Home and in Restaurants;
*How to Take Glare-free Photos Through Glass (on the street, from inside buildings or at zoos/aquariums); and
*How to Take Photos of Fireworks that Jump off the Screen

Mr. Darlow’s presentation will be followed by a question and answer session about digital photography. His books will be available for review, and he will be signing copies of his book for those who have previously purchased copies. He will also give away five signed 18x24 inch photographic posters featuring his work during the presentation.
